At 2nd Portishead Scout Group, we believe in nurturing the potential of our young people, helping them to start small and dream big. Our journey begins with Squirrels (ages 4-6), where children gather to grow and learn through engaging activities. As they transition to Beavers (ages 6-8), they enjoy games, giggles, and the formation of new friendships, all while building confidence and curiosity.

As they progress to Cubs (ages 8-10½), our scouts embark on adventures that foster teamwork and resilience. Finally, in Scouts (ages 10½-14), they face real-world challenges that cultivate independence and leadership skills. The journey continues into Explorer Scouts (ages 14-18), where they are equipped with practical skills, strong values, and a passion for making a difference in their communities.

We pride ourselves on delivering skills for life at every step of this journey, from first hikes to global expeditions, and from lighting fires to sparking futures. Our ethos centers around the safety and wellbeing of our young people, ensuring that they can explore and grow in a secure environment. We invite adults in the community to join us in this rewarding endeavor, as we need your support to help make these experiences possible.
